Menu of dinner in honour of Parer & McIntosh

Being far away from their hometowns and families, the Catalan migrants tried to get together so they could speak Catalan, play some traditional games, go hunting and share some Catalan food, like the famous ‘rovellons’. And sometimes they celebrated extraordinary events, such as the arrival of Ray Parer in Victoria after flying a single engine plane from London! In these gatherings all the generations were part of it. They became a source of weddings and family connections, the backbone of the Catalan community in Melbourne!
